Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated 23 August 2026
Our apps are sold only through the Apple App Store, so Apple takes the payment and Apple issues the refunds. This page explains exactly how to cancel, how to ask for your money back, and what we can do to help when something goes wrong.
1. The short version
- Subscriptions renew automatically at USD $20.00 per month or USD $100.00 per year until you cancel.
- Cancel in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. It takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
- The 3-day free trial converts automatically into a paid subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before it ends to avoid the charge.
- Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Something wrong with a purchase? Email founders@norply.co and we will help.
2. Why Apple, and not us
Every Norply Inc. application is distributed through the Apple App Store, and every subscription is an Apple in-app purchase. That makes Apple the merchant of record. Apple takes the payment, charges your Apple Account, handles the tax, manages the renewal, and decides refunds under Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
We never see or hold your payment card details, and we have no ability to charge or credit your card. This means Norply Inc. cannot itself issue a refund for an App Store purchase. We are not passing you off. It is a genuine limitation of how Apple’s payment system works, and it applies to every developer on the App Store.
What we absolutely will do is help. Email founders@norply.co and we will explain how to file the request, tell you what to write, and confirm in writing that we support your refund if the app failed to do what we said it does. We aim to reply within two business days.
3. How to request a refund from Apple
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that was charged.
- Choose “I’d like to request a refund”, then pick a reason.
- Select the Gainy AI charge from the list of purchases.
- Submit. Apple usually decides within 24 to 48 hours.
You can also request a refund from your iPhone: open the App Store, tap your profile picture, tap Purchased, find the item, and use Report a Problem. Apple’s decision is Apple’s to make, and time limits set by Apple and by your local consumer law apply.
4. How to cancel a subscription
On your iPhone or iPad:
- Open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. On older versions of iOS this is under Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Tap Gainy AI.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. If you delete the app without cancelling, the subscription keeps renewing and you keep being charged. This catches people out constantly, which is why we are saying it twice.
5. What happens when you cancel
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It is not retroactive and does not refund the period you are in.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancel on day 3 of a monthly subscription and the app works normally for the remaining 27 days or so.
- To be sure a renewal does not go through, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple processes renewals up to 24 hours in advance.
- You can resubscribe at any time. A previously used free trial will not be offered again.
6. Free trial terms
These apply in full every time a free trial is offered:
- The trial lasts 3 days from when you start it.
- It converts automatically to a paid subscription at USD $20.00 per month, or USD $100.00 per year on the annual plan, when the 3 days are up.
- You will be charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Cancelling during the trial keeps your access for the rest of the trial period and prevents the charge.
- Cancellation is done in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, the same way as any other subscription.
- One trial per Apple Account per app, at Apple’s discretion.
7. Price and plan changes
If we change the price of an existing subscription, Apple will notify you in advance and ask you to consent before charging the new price, as Apple’s rules require. If you do not consent, the subscription ends at the close of the current period. Switching between the monthly and annual plans is done in the same Subscriptions screen, and Apple prorates or schedules the change according to its own rules.
8. If the app does not work
If Gainy AI is broken, unavailable for a sustained period, or does not do something we clearly said it does, tell us at founders@norply.co. We will try to fix it quickly, and we will back your refund request to Apple in writing. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory refund or cancellation right you have under the consumer law where you live, including the EU and UK right to cancel a digital purchase in certain circumstances.
9. Purchases on this website
There are none. norply.co does not sell anything, does not take payments, and has no checkout of any kind. Joining the waitlist is free and takes no payment details. If a page anywhere asks for card details in our name, it is not us, and we would be grateful if you reported it to founders@norply.co.
